Brett Melnick is a junior at Chapman University where he studies film and television production.

 

Born and raised in Maryland, Brett "bleeds crabcakes and football," he says. He has directed and produced several short films including a drama of a young grocery store worker and a Spongebob Squarepants commercial that garnered international acclaim.

 

Outside of school, Brett teaches film production courses at Standford University and the University of California, Los Angeles.
